Project Overview

Implementation of the Maritime Environmental Levy at Berbera Port — the first sovereign carbon tax mechanism in the Horn of Africa. Covers all vessels transiting the Somaliland EEZ under the Africgreen Sovereign Framework. Revenue channelled to the Somaliland Climate Fund.
